THE BUS WILL BE WAITING AT THE «OUTSIDE VALÈNCIA VISITS BUS STOP» BEHIND THE BELLAS ARTES BUILDING, AS SHOWN ON THE CONFERENCE GUIDE. THE BUS WILL LEAVE AT 15:00.

It is a centre for conserving, managing, researching, and disseminating archaeological heritage. The museum archives a material legacy of the different peoples and cultures that have preceded us over time, in our physical environment, especially from times when there weren’t or are very limited, written documents.

The majority of the collection comes from archaeological excavations realised in this area and comprise many objects with a broad chronological frame ranging from the Paleolithic period to modern times.

On this tour, we will focus on the preservation and maintenance of the pieces and the historic building that houses them, the main problems impacting them, and the lack of material and human resources.

Observations: Please, note that this visit takes place in Ontinyent, outside València. The attendants will be transferred to the place by bus for free. The transfer will last around 1,5 hours.
