A TASTER OF VALENCIAN CUISINE

From New York, Tokyo, Melbourne, China… More than 800 experts in heritage conservation and museum management will come together next week in order to participate in a congress in the City of Valencia.

Do you know who the organization have chosen for the first gastronomic session of the event? The answer is us, PROAVA, an association of producers of the best Valencia producers. PROAVA will offer a coffee break and a lunch with a sample of Valencian cuisine. We are sure to make you fall in love with these products and leave you with fond memories.

WATER

We have chosen Aigua de Benassal, an excellent variety of mineral water.

But it’s not all about drinking, our guests will surely enjoy the gastronomic products, too.

COFFEE BREAK

Our breakfast will be kind of a nice surprise to many, as it will feature Products with the «A» seal of «Artesanía Comunitat Valenciana» (Valencian Community Crafts):

  • Traditional Valencian baking from the Horno Desamparados (Valencia)
  • Coca de llanda (a typical Valencian pastry)
  • ‘Arnadís’

LUNCH

The lunch will be a taster of Traditional Valencian Gastronomy with the seal of Artesanía Alimentaria, including:

  • A Selection of Artisan Cheeses from the Valencian Community (Quesos San Antonio de Callosa d’ En Sarria).
  • Sardines smoked in Extra Virgen Olive Oil (from Salazones La Marjal- Valencia)
  • Valencian ‘Pepitos’
  • Mini Valencian sausage sandwiches with ratatouille (from companies with the Artesanía Alimentaria seal: Amadeo from Jarafuel and Isidora from Utiel)
  • Assorted Salads
  • Assorted rice dishes from DOP ‘Arroz de Valencia’ (from Sivaris Rice), including, of course, the traditional Paella Valenciana, but also Arroz del Senyoret, Paella de Verduras (Vegetable Paella), and Black rice.
