* Participants may have lunch in any of the  restaurants and canteens in the university campus and in the surroundings; see more info here. Note that catered Conference lunches can be booked for an extra fee of 100€ (see below).

**Limited places. If you are affiliated with ICOM as an «ICOM Student Member» you can register at this highly-reduced fee. Please note that this does not apply to ‘regular’ ICOM Members, regardless of whether or not they are enrolled in a program or course.

*** Limited places. You can register as a «Young Conservator» whether you are an ICOM member or not and regardless of your professional (or not-yet professional) status. If you want to register as a Young Conservator, you will need to provide proof that you were born in 1998 or later.

Additional options:

  • Catered Conference lunches for Tuesday to Friday are optional and at an extra cost. The cost is € 100 for four days. Lunches cannot be bought singly.
    When registering online, delegates can choose to buy a catered Conference lunch packet for Tuesday to Friday. These lunches include international food and beverages, served in a convenient place near the venues and the trade fair (the green central area in this map). There is the option to book regular, halal, vegan or gluten-free food.
    Alternatively, delegates can make use of the many canteens, restaurants or cafeterias spread throughout the campus and pay individually onsite for campus lunches (see them here).
  • The Conference dinner is optional and at an extra cost. The Conference dinner costs € 75 per person and can be booked during online registration. Delegates can book a maximum of two tickets.
  • Technical visits to some of the most important Spanish museums (such the Prado, Reina Sofía or Thyssen museums in Madrid, the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya in Barcelona, or the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao) are also offered as an option. The dates, number of places and round-trip fees will be announced when they are definitely arranged.
 

HOW TO REGISTER

Registering for the Conference is easy. Click the «Online Registration Here» link at the top of the page (or here) and you will be taken to the Lifelong Learning Center platform of the Universitat Politècnica de València (CFP)

If this is your first time in the platform, you will be asked to create your CFP account (just click «Create you CFP account«). The UPV is a state higher-education institution and will not use your data for commercial purposes.

Once you have a CFP account you can access the registration platform by using the «Access CFP user and password» option. After entering your username and password, you will be taken to the ICOM-CC Valencia 2023 registration screens, which are self-explaining: you will be asked for your data, food needs, etc.

When you have made all your choices, you can pay with a credit card or through a bank transfer. You will get email feedback. The platform also offers the option to request an invoice.

Registration transfer and cancellation policy

The participant may cancel their registration at any time until 16 July 2023. If the registration is canceled before 3 May 2023, the participant will be refunded the total price of the registration, less a managing fee of 38€. If the participant cancels the registration after 2 May 2023, the participant will be refunded 50% of the registration fee. If the participant cancels the registration after July 16 2023, the registration will not be refunded. Alternatively, the participant may transfer the registration to another person in the same fee category or lower.

In case of a health crisis and other force majeure circumstances

As with any event, the 20th Triennial Conference of ICOM-CC may be adversely affected by circumstances beyond the organizer’s control. If any such circumstance would prevent the event’s development as planned, the organizer’s shall aim to provide the best possible solution. If an online or otherwise different conference is scheduled, the participants may cancel their registrations according to the cancellation policy or keep their registrations and have any difference between the price of the original and the new registration fees returned.
