The Conference runs from Monday the 18th through Friday the 22nd September. On Sunday the 17th September before the conference, there will be a welcome reception. On Monday, the Plenary sessions will be held in the Reina Sofía Auditorium inside the Palau de les Arts. These will include the Triennial Lecture as well as two keynote speeches in the afternoon. The Working Group sessions will take place from Tuesday 19th (full day), Wednesday 20th (morning), Thursday 21st (full day), and Friday 22nd (morning). The Working Group sessions allow members to present within their elected speciality, and will be run in five rooms according to the programme that will be published in due time. The delegates can move from room to room (and topic to topic) according to their interests, until the capacity of the room is reached. On the evening of Thursday 21st September there will also be a Conference dinner, which is offered as an extra option. In the afternoon of Wednesday the 20th September a number of ‘technical visits’ to different Valencian museums and conservation centres will be offered. A trade fair will also take place between Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st September, and will feature a number of interesting exhibitors; not to be missed. A trade fair can be visited at any time. In the evening of Friday the 22nd September a farewell reception will be offered in the Agora, another fascinating building close to the Palau de les Arts. The details of the programme will be published in due time

During the afternoon of Wednesday, 20th September and after the Conference, we are working to offer a number of special guided visits to some of the most appealing museums in Spain for those delegates willing to take further advantage of their travel to Spain. We aim to organize special technical visits and tours to the Prado, the Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Reina Sofía, in Madrid; the Museu Nacional d’Art and the CaixaForum Barcelona; and the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao. These trips are optional and will be offered to delegates for an extra fee.
