Laura is the founder and Managing Director of DIADRASIS, an educational NGO for the protection of unrevealed cultural heritage. Through DIADRASIS, which collaborates with more than 34 institutions and involves participants from 62 countries, she continuously fulfils the vision of training and engaging more people in saving our heritage for the benefit of all.

Trained as a Conservator of Antiquities & Historical Buildings, in Ravenna, Italy at the “Scuola per il Restauro del Mosaico”, later she widened her education with an MA (Hons) in Buildings Conservation, at York, UK, and with further trainings at ICCROM (ARIS 09, Teaching Skills in Conservation 13, REORG training for trainers) and at the Getty Conservation Institute (CMAI 23 – ongoing).

Her main specialty and passion is designing and implementing interdisciplinary hands-on trainings and public awareness projects for Conservation with experiences in Greece, Bulgaria, Bahrain, Italy, India, Kuwait, Spain, Syria, Turkey, and Zanzibar.
