Visit to the conservation and restoration workshop of the Heritage and Art Collection Office, where the heritage that makes up the museums and collections of the Universitat Politècnica de València is intervened. The pieces are of a very diverse nature, including technological heritage, such as old telephones, computers, typewriters, telecommunications equipment…; toys; artists’ books; canvases; among others.

It also includes a guided visit to the Museu Campus Escultòric (MUCAES), in which the particularities and problems derived from the conservation of sculptures in the open air will be explained.

The activity concludes with a visit to the Heritage and Art Collection Office‘s works storage facility, which will show how a university space can be adapted to the storage and conservation of heritage.
